Airborne Innovations introduces the NanoUXV Vehicle Computer OEM Board, which is a very compact vehicle and/or payload computer system, well suited to vehicles requiring limited size, weight, and power.
The system uses computer on modules based on the NanoETXExpress standard, currently supporting Intel Atom Z5xx and E6xx processors up to 1.6 GHz.
It contains a variety of interfaces needed by small vehicles and payloads, including dual gigabit ethernet, 3 USB2 ports, 2 RS232 ports, CAN bus, GPIO, dual analog video inputs, very wide input range power supply, 12V outputs. Expansion capability includes a MiniPCI port ideal for high power broadband radios, hardware H.264 video compressors, GPS, or other expansion modules such as Firewire. It has an Expresscard interface for high speed storage or PCIe based expansion, and a SATA port for ultra high speed storage.
It is also available with a compact and light weight enclosure with built in heat sink.
